The Mornington Obedience Dog Club is pleased to announce that we are planning to recommence dog training sessions on Saturday, 6 February 2021. We will be working tirelessly in the background establishing COVID-SAFE protocols, a booking system and programs for the expected busy times ahead. We will abide by any Health Department recommendations over the coming months.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. For further information, please send us a message.

Welcome to the web site of the Mornington Obedience Dog Club.   We offer a wide variety of activities including Puppy Classes, Obedience and Rally.  The training methods used at Mornington focus on positive reinforcement through the use of food or toys coupled with praise. The aim of our training is to have a well-socialised dog with that socialisation continuing for the life of the dog.

New members are welcome to join on any Saturday.  Bookings are not necessary! We ask new and returning members to come to the registration desk no later than 15 minutes before class time.

Training will be cancelled if the weather forecast predicts temperatures higher than 30°C or heavy rain/thunderstorms. Training is not held on Easter Saturday, some long-weekends, the summer holiday period and on “club fun days”. All members will be advised of alterations to training by email and announcements on our Facebook page.
